About the Opportunity

Partial Job Requirements (Complete requirements are outlined in the Job Specifications.)

  1. Under general supervision operates all Company vehicles for the primary purpose of transporting materials and supplies interstate and intrastate.

  2. Loads and unloads vehicles utilizing equipment as required.

  3. Responsible for maintaining all paperwork associated with this position.

  4. Performs other related and lesser skilled work as required.

  5. Directing and training assigned employees.

  6. Must possess a valid Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License and pass a tractor trailer driving, manual transmission, and load securement skills demonstration as prescribed by the Company.

  7. Must be willing to work extra and/or irregular hours as required.

  8. Strength and dexterity adequate to safely perform all the duties of this classification. Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

  9. Ability to pass physical ability test to demonstrate two techniques of lifting as prescribed by the Company.

  10. Must be at least a high school graduate or possess the GED equivalency.

  11. Must be particularly alert in observing hazards and avoiding accidents.

  12. Must be able to develop and plan work of limited scope.
