Full job description
Job Title: Trimmer Job Description
As a Trimmer, you will be responsible for using hand routers, trimmers, drills, and fixtures to trim and assemble roto molded slides. You will also pack finished slides into boxes for shipping to customers, track production output, monitor product quality, and communicate daily with Roto Technicians. You will be encouraged to offer recommendations to improve production processes for better time management and quality work habits.
Responsibilities

Use hand routers, trimmers, drills, and fixtures to trim and assemble roto molded slides.

Pack finished slides in boxes in preparation for shipping to customers.

Track production output, product quality, and scrapped parts, and communicate to Roto Technicians daily.

Offer recommendations to improve production processes for better time management and quality work habits.
Essential Skills

Experience with hand tools and power tools

Mechanical aptitude

Ability to use tape measures

Capability to perform heavy lifting
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience with trimming molded plastic parts is preferred.

Experience operating molding equipment is desirable.

Quality control experience is desirable.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
