Job Description

A leading, rapidly modernizing third-party logistics firm in Southern California is seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Program Manager to drive program, project, and systems delivery across their enterprise applications and serve as the trusted customer-facing point of contact for onboarding and implementation. This is a full-time, permanent position based at the company’s City of Industry headquarters (onsite and hybrid; not remote) and reporting directly to the executive team.

In this visible, autonomous role, you will coordinate intake, prioritization, and delivery of complex projects across packaged software—spanning WMS, ERP, EDI, billing, IT service management, and a data platform—working with both internal teams and external vendors. You’ll directly manage the end-to-end customer onboarding process for enterprise applications, transforming ad-hoc implementations into scalable, repeatable processes. This position is perfect for a program leader who thrives on owning outcomes, protecting technical talent, and shaping standardized onboarding in a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of hands-on program and project management; able to run multi-workstream technology portfolios with structured rigor

  • Experience overseeing enterprise software rollouts and service desk operating cadence, ideally from a consulting, management, or supply chain background

  • Direct responsibility for WMS (Warehouse Management System) implementations in 3PL or warehouse settings; hands-on with site or customer onboarding

  • Track record of EDI onboarding—customer-facing, retailer and label compliance, trading-partner setup (940, 943, 944, 856, 846, or related)

  • Clear, credible communicator; able to set, manage, and deliver on expectations with customers and leadership in high-stakes environments

  • Built and run repeatable onboarding or implementation playbooks/processes, not just ad hoc launches

  • Adept at gathering requirements, sequencing dependencies, writing specs, and translating between business and technology teams (no coding required)

  • Proven ability to handle intake/triage, allocate resources, and prioritize a portfolio—deciding what gets worked on next and holding the line on priorities

  • Comfortable as the top program manager—reporting directly to executives, autonomously driving initiatives to completion

  • Working, practical fluency with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, or similar): you use them in your daily workflow and are diligent in verifying outputs

  • Based in Southern California, able to be onsite/hybrid at the City of Industry headquarters

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with Blue Yonder (WMS) or hands-on ERP (NetSuite or similar) implementations

  • Built onboarding or implementation frameworks from scratch

  • Experience in PE-backed, fast-growth, or owner-operated environments

  • PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification
