Full job description

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Phlebotomist in Mount Kisco, NY ! This role is in person / onsite. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:

Type: Four - month contract, with opportunity for extension or full-time offer

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 5:00PM, Rotating Saturdays 8:00AM – 1:00PM

Pay: $20.00 to $24.00 an hour

Notes: Occasional travel to local draw stations required when needed

Responsibilities of the Phlebotomist:

  • Draw blood from pediatric through geriatric patient population

  • Process all lab specimens including verifying patient identifiers, barcoding, centrifuging, pouring off, accessioning, creating packing lists and packaging specimens to reference lab at correct temperatures

  • Follow all Phlebotomy SOP and OSHA Safety/PPE guidelines.

Qualifications for the Phlebotomist:

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent

  • Phlebotomy certification preferred

  • 6 months of Phlebotomy experience

  • Knowledge of EPIC
