Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Clear Lake, TX. The Electrical Engineer will support the design, development, testing, and certification of electrical, data, and power subsystems for human spaceflight hardware across NASA programs including the International Space Station, Orion, and Human Landing System. This role is responsible for creating electrical designs, schematics, drawings, and technical documentation while supporting projects throughout the full engineering lifecycle, from concept development through flight certification. The engineer will perform requirements verification, analysis, testing, and hardware/software integration activities, ensuring compliance with technical, cost, and schedule requirements. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, customers, and technical authorities, the Electrical Engineer will contribute to NASA’s mission of advancing human exploration of the Moon and beyond.

Skills and Requirements

3-5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer

Experience designing and troubleshooting PC boards

Experience with Altium

Experience with derating components

Experience with component selections

Bachelors degree in Engineering - electrical preferred NASA or DoD experience
