The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the school setting is responsible for conducting student evaluations and providing, documenting, and managing therapy services in accordance with each student's individualized plan of care and physician orders. This position supports a caseload of approximately 55 students and plays a critical role in helping students develop communication skills that contribute to their academic achievement and overall success.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment required

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state or contract

  • Compliance with all applicable professional standards of practice

  • Current CPR certification, if applicable

  • TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable

  • Current health certificate, as required by contract or state regulations

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
