Job Description :
The Quality Inspector provides inspection services including receiving inspection, part, and process audit support for manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Perform Receiving Inspection - Performs receiving inspection on raw materials and components supplied by external suppliers or customers.

Reviews certificates of conformance and material test reports for required material/parts to assure conformance to specifications.

Perform In-Process Product Audits, Configuration Audits, and Black Light Inspection Audits.

Performs in-process product audits and configuration audits on components and assemblies manufactured in-house.

Assure Product Meets Performance Tests - Performs product audits by witnessing the assembly and test processes for completed product, assuring product meets specified performance tests.

Use total quality techniques, including team participation, to recommend ways to eliminate potential quality problems. Improve procedures and work instructions to improve personal and department effectiveness.
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:

High School Diploma/GED

3+ years quality inspection experience

Ability to lift, carry, or maneuver 40lbs
-
No allergies to oils, solvents or solutions
-
Basic knowledge of mechanical inspection methods using gages, fixtures, surface plate equipment, standard measuring equipment and profilometer

Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and interpret all applicable blueprints and specifications to include geometric tolerancing and dimensioning

Demonstrated ability to understand and apply machine shop mathematics to include geometry and trigonometry

Pay Details: $24.00 per hour
