BAE Systems is a leading global defense, security, and aerospace company. We're seeking highly skilled Software Engineers to join our dynamic team, supporting our government customer in driving innovation, efficiency, and security in the rapidly evolving landscape of government mission and business information technology.
We're looking for a talented Software Engineers to play a key role in developing and maintaining critical national security mission applications, integrating front-end and back-end systems using Agile methodology. As a highly cleared software developer, you will be responsible for performing coding, testing, debugging, and deployment of secure applications, while collaborating with Government developers to ensure adherence to performance and security standards.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Must possess a TS/SCI clearance with appropriate polygraph

Bachelor s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education

Intelligence Community and cleared SW development experience required

8 years of experience in SW development, conducting coding, testing, and deployment of secure applications, with a portion of the experience within the last 3 years.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Master's degree in CS, CE, mathematics, physics or related field

Experience developing applications to support quantitative analysis

Experience integrating complex and/or experimental algorithms into established applications

Working knowledge of applied cryptography

Docker and Java experience

HPC software development experience

Experience integrating AI agents into development workflows

Exposure to QPU and GPU HPC architectures
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
