Schedule: PRN Shift: Day-Weekend (United States of America) Address: 1035 RED BUD RD NE City: CALHOUN State: Georgia Postal Code: 30701 Job Description:

Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00AM-4:30PM

  • Positions patients accurately and comfortably using appropriate immobilization and coil placement techniques to ensure high-quality imaging.
  • Prepares and administers IV contrast material following safety guidelines and monitors patients for adverse reactions.
  • Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams.
  • Performs high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols to ensure diagnostic image quality and patient safety.
  • Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of MRI procedures [Required]
  • Knowledge of MRI scanners [Required]
  • Ability to work flexibly in variable shifts, occasionally including weekends or holidays [Required]
  • Must maintain all required registries and licenses to perform imaging procedures [Required]
  • Ability to perform MRI procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail [Required]

Education:

  • Associate [Preferred]
  • High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience:

  • 1+ years experience in radiology and completion of MRI training program [Preferred]

  • (RT)(MR)(ARRT): Additional Licensure or certification requirements may apply depending on the specific unit or state in which this position is located. Please consult the relevant credential grid for detailed information regarding these requirements.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
  • Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.T.(MR)ARRT)) [Required] OR
  • Registered MRI Technologist (ARMRIT) [Required]

Pay Range:
