Director, Marketing

Location: Nine Elms, London - Full-time (5 days a week on-site)

About Zapp

Zapp is London’s leading premium convenience retail platform. Founded in 2020, our vision is to disrupt the multi-trillion dollar convenience retail market, currently dominated by major players, by developing best-in-class customer-centric technology and fulfilment solutions. Zapp partners with some of the world’s leading brands to deliver an exclusive range of hand-picked products 24/7, delivered in minutes.

Zapp have an exciting opportunity for a Director, Marketing to join our team! We believe in building strong relationships with external agencies and internal teams to deliver impactful marketing initiatives. This role will be developing and executing brand strategies that accelerates awareness, engagement, and growth at Zapp. You'll also have the opportunity to work directly with our Founder!

What you'll own

  • Marketing campaigns across every customer-facing touchpoint - OOH, Meta, CRM, social, influencer, partnerships, and experiential. If it has Zapp's name on it, you care about it.

  • End-to-end brand campaign, working alongside our Creative Director - from strategy, brief, media planning, media buying, creatives, to signing off the assets - holding the standard from concept to launch.

  • Brand perception and consumer insight - tracking how London sees Zapp, running research, and turning findings into sharper positioning and better campaigns.

  • Influencer and partnership strategy - identifying the right collaborations with the brands, founders, and creators that our customers actually follow.

  • Cross-functional integration - making sure brand thinking is embedded into CRM, paid, commercial, and product decisions, not siloed from them.

  • A small, ambitious team - managing and developing the brand team with the same directness and high standards you apply to your own work.

Who you are

  • You are a Zapp customer. You understand the Sunday morning breakfast order to the post-gym restock.

  • You have 6+ years of B2C brand marketing experience, ideally in a consumer brand or scaling startup where you owned real outcomes, not just workstreams.

  • You have strong creative judgment - you know what good looks like and you're not afraid to say when something isn't there yet.

  • You are commercially wired. Brand investment has to earn its place and you know how to make the case and measure the return.

  • You move fast, take ownership, and don't wait to be told what to do next. You raise the flag early and find the solution before the problem lands on someone else's desk.

  • You are culturally plugged into London - the neighbourhoods, the brands, and the moments that matter to our discerning, taste-led customers.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary & equity

  • Enjoy 25 days holiday per year (plus all bank holidays)

  • Private Health Insurance

  • Extended sick pay and maternity / paternity leave pay
