Full job description
This position is located at Fort Stewart Pools, Fort Stewart, GA. This vacancy is for multiple Aquatic facilities located on Fort Stewart, GA. Working evenings, weekends, and holidays are required. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives may be paid. Earn up to an EXTRA $1,000 this season. (See how in Additional Information.) Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Possesses and maintains the following certifications: Lifeguarding and First Aid (American Red Cross or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Star Guard, YMCA, or ELLIS); American Red Cross "Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation for the Professional; CPR for the Professional Rescuer/AED or equivalent (American Heart Association CPR/AED). Certifications must be uploaded at the time of application. Serves as a lifeguard for indoor and outdoor pools and works under the direction of the Installation Aquatics Program Manager. Provides maximum pool area surveillance and responds to emergencies; rescues pool patrons and administers first aid as required. Employs safety rules for the protection of the pool guests. Responsible for lifeguarding guests in attendance at the assigned aquatics facility. Assists in maintaining pool, and area clean and free from any hazards. Performs other duties as assigned.
