Job Description: The Role and Impact

As a Foundry Product Engineer, you will play a vital role in shaping the success of our next-generation products by ensuring the manufacturing stability in the high-volume production phase. Your work will influence Intel's ability to deliver innovative and high-quality solutions to customers. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, test development, quality, manufacturing groups, and foundry suppliers, you will contribute to optimizing production and driving technological advancements in the semiconductor industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze product performance testing, foundry e-test data, and operational metrics to ensure manufacturability and resolve engineering challenges.
  • Lead cross-functional manufacturing taskforces to address foundry supplier issues, customer returns, and supply chain disruptions.
  • Evaluate manufacturing windows and assess process capabilities to optimize production efficiency.
  • Collaborate with foundry suppliers to drive continuous improvement by tracking corrective actions, managing process excursions, and identifying enhancement opportunities.
  • Handle high-volume production material disposition after yield test.

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a semiconductor-related field, or equivalent experience as per business needs.
  • 8+ years of Foundry industrial experience with Foundry suppliers management history.
  • Proficiency in data analysis of yield (test data log, DFT, Diagnosis, etc.), Foundry supplier e-test, and process manufacturing knowledge.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to handle quality events independently.
  • Experience managing foundry suppliers for advanced technology nodes
  • Fluency in Korean and English with strong presentation and teamwork skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive manufacturing readiness.
  • Demonstrated leadership in driving manufacturability improvements and cost optimizations.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality products and solving challenging technical problems.
