C4ISR is an abbreviation created and used by the U.S. Department of Defense (USDoD), U.S. intelligence agencies, and U.S. allies which stands for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance.

This position is a 1st shift position on a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.

This candidate will use predetermined methods, operations, set ups and prescribed specifications to visually inspect in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, and internal defects. Uses various measuring devices and testing equipment. Accepts, rejects, or reworks defective or malfunctioning units or systems. Works from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer, regulatory and BAE specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • High School diploma or GED.

  • At least three to five years of experience in inspection of mechanical and electromechanical systems.

  • Hands-on experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).

  • Experience working within regulated environments (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001, or Nadcap).

  • Experience maintaining detailed inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and traceability logs.

  • Extensive experience interpreting engineering drawings, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) symbols, and technical specifications.

  • Ability to collaborate with production teams and engineers to resolve non-conformances.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Proven track record of performing first-article, in-process, and final inspections on complex assemblies. (Aerospace/manufacturing)

  • Ability to document defects clearly and concisely for engineering review.

  • An uncompromising eye for discrepancies and a commitment to "zero-defect" quality.

  • Ability to determine the root cause of a failure rather than just identifying the symptom.

  • Certified Quality Inspector -ASQ Certification, a plus.

  • Experience supporting lean six sigma methodologies.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $62530 - $100048

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
