Job Title: Logistics Coordinator Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator manages end-to-end order, inventory, and shipment activities within a dynamic data center and warehouse environment. This role serves as a central point of contact for customers and internal teams, ensuring accurate order processing, timely deliveries, and efficient material movement. The Logistics Coordinator monitors operational reports, maintains precise records, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics performance and overall service quality.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and track customer orders from creation through completion, ensuring accurate processing and on-time delivery.

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling, documentation, and communication with carriers and partners.

  • Oversee material movement and logistics activities within a data center and warehouse environment, ensuring proper handling and storage.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer requests, order updates, and escalations, providing timely and clear communication.

  • Handle customer inquiries, escalations, and urgent requests while providing regular status updates and issue resolution.

  • Monitor reports and performance metrics related to orders, inventory, and shipments to ensure operational accuracy and efficiency.

  • Conduct audits of inventory, orders, and documentation to maintain data integrity and support compliance with internal processes.

  • Maintain accurate operational records, including shipment tracking, inventory adjustments, and order documentation.

  • Support inventory replenishment activities by tracking stock levels, coordinating with vendors, and assisting with purchasing processes.

  • Partner closely with warehouse, logistics, vendor, and customer teams to ensure operational goals and service expectations are met.

  • Support vendor management activities by coordinating orders, tracking deliveries, and addressing any logistics-related issues.

  • Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and drive operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Utilize inventory and order management systems, Microsoft Office applications, and RF scanners to manage data and track activities.

  • Assist with picking, packing, shipping, and receiving tasks as needed to support daily warehouse and logistics operations.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations, including picking, packing, inventory handling, and shipment processing.

  • Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately manage orders, inventory, shipments, and documentation.

  • Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to support customers, vendors, and internal teams and handle inquiries and escalations.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Computer and data management skills, including experience working with inventory and order management systems.

  • Ability to use RF scanners for inventory, picking, and shipping activities.

  • Customer service experience with the ability to build relationships and resolve issues in a timely manner.

  • Experience with inventory management, order processing, shipment tracking, or logistics operations.

  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.

  • Ability to work in a warehouse and/or data center environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Forklift, electric tug, and/or pallet jack experience is a plus but not required.

  • Experience using Excel functions such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables is a plus.

  • Prior experience in a technology-driven logistics or data center environment is beneficial.

  • Familiarity with continuous improvement practices and process optimization is an advantage.

Work Environment

Steel-toed safety boots are required at all times while working in the warehouse to support a strong safety culture. The environment is technology-driven, utilizing inventory and order management systems, RF scanners, and Microsoft Office tools to manage daily operations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $57200.00 - $57200.00/yr.
