Occupational Therapist (OT) – School-Based
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students in a school-based setting. This is a full-time opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students develop the functional skills needed for academic success and independence.
Position Overview
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for conducting student evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, providing therapy services, and documenting progress in alignment with each student’s plan of care.
Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
-
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs/504s as applicable)

Provide direct therapy services to support student development and participation
-
Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of services and progress
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
-
Ensure adherence to all professional and regulatory standards
Minimum Requirements
-
Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of practice
-
Minimum 1 year of professional OT experience (preferred)
-
Strong understanding of school-based therapy practices (preferred)
-
Compliance with all professional standards of practice

Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
-
Must be at least 18 years of age
Additional Requirements (if applicable)

Current CPR certification
-
TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray)

Current health certificate per contract or state regulations
