Formulate, purify, and characterize LNPs for nucleic acid delivery
-
Collaborate with the Epigenetic Editing and Product teams (Immunology, Metabolism, Vascular) to develop LNP-RNA reprogramming medicines.
-
Develop and optimize LNP compositions to target new cell types for reprogramming.
-
Interpret complex experimental data and perform statistical analyses to reach robust conclusions.
-
Maintain rigorous and detailed records of experimental protocols and results in an Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN). Requirements
-
Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline or equivalent industry experience
-
Experience formulating LNPs with diverse lipid components for nucleic acid delivery
-
Experience with purification techniques, including dialysis, Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF), ultracentrifugation, and sterile filtration.
-
Proficiency in LNP analysis using dynamic or multi-angle light scatting, liquid chromatography, and standard molecular biology assays (ELISA, qPCR, spectroscopy). Nice to have
-
Experience contributing to drug product development at the preclinical or clinical stages.
-
Background in extra-hepatic nucleic acid delivery.
-
Experience with bioconjugation, surface modification, or targeted LNP formulation.
