The Greater Manchester Region serves a region of 300,000 people in 19 towns. POSITION SUMMARY: This position reports through the Educational Coordinator to the Director of Adolescent Education. Performs a variety of duties that include assisting the teacher in providing individualized instruction to students, managing daily classroom routines and creating and maintaining a safe, structured therapeutic milieu with age-specific behavioral management practices. Follows established policy and protocol in monitoring students' arrivals and dismissals from the Clinical Day School program. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: * This position requires a Bachelors degree in Education or a related field. EXPERIENCE: * Prior experience working with special needs adolescents is preferred. Age-specific competencies are required.
