Our client, a growing personal care manufacturer, is looking for a skilled Incoming Incoming Warehouse Technician to join their team in Livermore, CA!
Pay rate : $21- $24/hr.
Location: Livermore, CA
Job type: 6-month contract-hire
Position Summary
The Incoming Warehouse Tech role focus on inspecting and verifying materials as they arrive, ensuring they meet defined quality standards before they proceed to production.
This position is critical in preventing defects and maintaining compliance with internal and external quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Inspect incoming materials/products for quality, compliance, and conformance to specifications.

Perform sampling and testing of packaging materials and incoming raw materials according to established specifications and procedures.

Send samples to testing laboratories as needed.

Maintain laboratory records, retest expired chemical raw materials, and maintain accurate documentation.

Document inspection results accurately in quality reports, noting deviations or non-conformances.

Identify and report non-conforming items to the appropriate teams for corrective action.

Collaborate with internal teams to address quality issues and improve incoming material quality.

Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments to ensure accurate and reliable testing.

Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality requirements.

Adhere to all safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
-
Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
