As an Unarmed Security Officer at a busy hospital, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and contractors at a government care facility by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, resident-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate incident, patrol, and visitor documentation.

Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
-
At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
