Must be a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) living on U.S. soil who does not hold dual citizenship with the ability to meet customer and government screening standards applicable to this role.

PLEASE NOTE: Qualification for this job is contingent upon acceptable results from a background investigation as well as your having and maintaining the specific level of U.S. government background investigation and clearance required for this role.

About the Role As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) on our Public Sector team, you embed with U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and Aerospace clients — designing and deploying bespoke AI solutions that drive mission-critical outcomes. This is a U.S.-based role supporting these public sector clients. Additionally, you help engineer secure, reliable systems that mission teams depend on every day, bringing a builder's mindset, an AI-first approach, and the technical depth to take complex challenges from concept to production.

Mission Responsibilities

  • Lead high-profile customer engagements — designing, building, and deploying tailored Salesforce solutions for defense, intelligence, and aerospace missions.

  • Partner directly with customers and mission stakeholders to translate complex needs into working technical solutions.

  • Build and ship secure, production-grade software using modern engineering practices, with AI as a core part of your development workflow.

  • Design systems where AI agents integrate seamlessly into human workflows, and critically evaluate code (human- or AI-generated) for correctness, quality, security, and performance.

Minimum Requirements :

  • You bring 8+ years of enterprise architecture or consulting experience, including 4+ years leading Salesforce Core projects.

  • You have strong application design skills paired with data, integration, and security architecture expertise.

  • You communicate clearly in writing and verbally, and can present and defend a point of view to a variety of audiences.

  • You can travel 25–50% of the time to customer sites

  • Holds an active Secret clearance or higher

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline; equivalent demonstrable work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • You have a background in defense/aerospace, classified environments at Impact Level 5/6 (IL5/IL6), or federal civilian agencies.

  • You hold a Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification or multiple Salesforce Architecture certifications.

  • You bring a strong enterprise architecture background and can convey best practices to stakeholders at all levels of a large organization.
