Full job description
Our client, Manufacturing industry is seeking a Machinist Level 2 to join their team. As a Machinist Level 2, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Machinist Level 2
Location: Clackamas, OR
Pay Range:
Shift: Monday-Thursday: 5am - 3:30 pm, Friday: Overtime as needed
What's the Job?

Review production process work instructions and drawings with supervisor to gain a thorough understanding of requirements
-
Set up equipment required to complete each step of the manufacturing process
-
Set tools and fixtures, load into machine, and set offsets
-
Set parts X, Y, and Z offset in the machine control
-
Read and understand G&M code
What's Needed?

Knowledge of CNC machine tools and controls

Ability to read blueprints

Excellent math skills
-
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to perform job requirements with limited supervision
