Join our new Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy team! Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized type of pharmacy that focuses on processing and dispensing of prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within a region. Unlike a traditional pharmacy, Central Fill is full of automation allowing prescriptions to be filled fast and accurately. But the best part of Central Fill pharmacy is taking care of our patients in the community. While we are not patient facing, our job provides retail pharmacies with the ability to spend much deserved time providing clinical services and education to the communities they serve.
What you'll do in our Pharmacy Technician roles:
Work in an innovative environment with cutting-edge technology. Responsibilities include identifying, selecting and verifying pharmaceutical products, expiration dates and lot numbers; labels and weighs medication for accuracy; prepares packages and distributes medications in a fast-paced production environment; replenishes automated counting machines in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.
Are you a good fit for our Pharmacy Technician roles? Yes, if you:
- Meet all Missouri state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, including being at least 18 years old and holding an active state Pharmacy Technician license issued by the Missouri State Board of Pharmacy
- Certified Pharmacy Technicians must also hold an active/valid PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT) national certification certificate Schedule/Availability:
4-day workweek consisting of four 10-hour shifts. Sunday availability is required and candidates without Sunday availability will not be considered.

1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (availability required between 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM (availability required between 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM) Compensation:

Registered and Nationally Certified Technicians: $24.00/hr

Registered Technicians: $20.50/hr
