Full job description
About nOps
nOps is a Series A FinOps platform that helps engineering and finance teams cut wasted cloud spend through autonomous optimization. We work across AWS, Azure, and GCP, managing over $4B in cloud spend for our customers. We partner closely with the major hyperscalers to help organizations optimize, govern, and invest in their cloud environments.
The Role
We are hiring a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own the messaging, positioning, and sales enablement for our commitment management product line. This is a high impact role where you will directly influence deal conversion, sharpen how we position in a competitive market, and shape the voice of the nOps commitment management story from day one.
The right person is not just a writer or blog owner. This is a strategic role focused on moving the needle on close rates, improving pipeline conversion from first meeting to advanced stages, and giving our sales team the ammunition they need to win in a highly technical space against sophisticated buyers.
What You'll Do
-
Own the messaging and positioning for nOps' commitment management product line.
-
Build sales enablement materials that move the needle, including battlecards, decks, one pagers, objection handling frameworks, and value proposition scripts.
-
Train the sales team on the technical nuances of commitment management and savings instruments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
-
Monitor customer calls and translate real customer feedback into actionable product and messaging insights.
-
Own competitive intelligence for the FinOps and cloud cost optimization space.
-
Influence product roadmap by feeding customer signals back to the product team.
-
Measure impact through improvements in conversion rate, close rate, and pipeline velocity.
What You'll Bring
-
Prior experience in product marketing at a FinOps, commitment management, or cloud cost optimization company.
-
Deep understanding of savings instruments across AWS, Azure, and GCP including Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitments (MACC).
-
Strong ability to translate technical complexity into clean, compelling sales narratives.
-
Demonstrated impact on close rates or pipeline conversion in prior roles, with specific results you can speak to.
-
Comfortable running both sides of the seat: sales facing (enablement, objection handling) and product facing (roadmap influence, customer feedback loops).
-
Strategic thinker who can shape a function rather than just execute an existing playbook.
-
Comfort in fast growth or early stage environments where the role is new and there is room to build.
Why nOps
-
Real ownership. This is a shape it yourself role, not a slot you fit into.
-
Direct impact. Your work will be measured against actual close rate and pipeline conversion improvements, not vanity metrics.
-
Fully remote team with a strong culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.
