Full job description

Hourly pay rate: $16.25 - $22.75, based on your experience

Job Responsibilities

  1. Work in the areas of all bulk receiving, housekeeping, and quality control operations for shift

  2. Monitor quality of ingredients received

  3. Responsible for accurate sample testing and record keeping of ingredients

  4. Unload ingredients into proper bins

  5. Work in a safe and efficient manner

  6. Assist in all housekeeping functions at the mill

  7. Perform minor repairs on mill equipment

  8. Work in the pelleting and batching areas, as well as bulk load out when required

  9. Perform all jobs to standard

Minimum Qualifications

***** Good math skills

***** 10 key calculators

***** No performance work actions in the last 6 months

***** No attendance work actions in the last 6 months

***** PHYSICAL: No restrictions against working in a dusty environment & in all types of weather conditions

***** No current restrictions lifting up to 50 pounds repetitively

***** No current restrictions prohibiting the use of personal safety equipment

Preferred Qualifications

***** Two or three years of feed mill experience

***** Experience with all batching, pelleting, receiving, and loading functions of a feed mill

***** One year of mechanical experience
