Our client, in Aurora NE , a leading facilities and industrial services organization, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Engineering & Technical Services Department supporting the Facility Maintenance Team . The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills , a willingness to learn , and a safety-focused mindset , which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Aurora, NE
Pay Range: 25.00 per hour DOE
What’s the Job?

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems throughout a large production and warehouse facility.

Troubleshoot and repair overhead doors, dock doors, lighting systems, and other facility equipment.
-
Conduct routine inspections, diagnose equipment issues, and complete assigned work orders.
-
Assist with fire life safety preventive maintenance, minor plumbing repairs, and light carpentry projects.
-
Support facility operations by ensuring equipment and systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with safety regulations.
What’s Needed?
-
High School Diploma or GED required; trade school training or equivalent experience preferred.
-
1-2+ years of maintenance experience with strong electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills, especially with overhead doors.

Ability to work safely in an industrial environment, including climbing stairs, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and mobile applications.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with a willingness to learn and work independently or as part of a team.
