DOSS is trusted by fast-growing operators to run critical operations with speed, control, and confidence.
About the Role We're looking for a Workplace Specialist to own the day-to-day environment that makes Doss worth showing up to. Doss is a 5-days-a-week, in-office company. We believe great work happens when people are in the same room, and our office experience should reflect that. You'll keep daily operations running smoothly by supporting the team that makes the office feeling like a place people actually want to be.
What You'll Do
-
Support daily workplace operations for our SOMA headquarters including supply ordering and restocking, space readiness, and keeping common areas in good shape
-
Coordinate our food & beverage program, including lunch 5 days a week and dinner when the team is working late: placing orders, managing setup and cleanup, and handling dietary requests
-
Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for vendors and service providers by scheduling visits, confirming deliveries, and flagging quality or service issues to your manager
-
Serve as the primary point of contact with building management, coordinating on maintenance requests, building access, safety and compliance requirements, and any facility-level issues that affect day-to-day operations
-
Help plan and execute internal events and programming that build community and reflect Doss culture, including logistics, vendor scheduling, setup, and day-of support
-
Support tracking workplace spend against budget, keep receipts and invoices organized, and flag anything unusual
-
Support cross-functional logistics with IT, Finance, and People, including new hire desk setup and onboarding-day readiness
-
Identify operational gaps before they become problems and bring solutions, not just status updates
What We're Looking For Experience
-
A college degree, or relevant experience in workplace, facilities, hospitality, retail, events, or administrative support
-
Comfort with the basics: email, calendars, spreadsheets, and keeping a to-do list that doesn't drop things
-
Bonus, not required: experience at a fast-moving company where the playbook changes often
Qualities
-
High follow-through: you close loops without being chased
-
Detail-oriented but not precious about it: you move fast and adapt
-
Warm, hospitality-first instincts: you care that people feel taken care of
-
Comfortable asking questions and comfortable when the answer is "figure it out and check back with me"
What You'll Get
-
Competitive salary + meaningful equity
