Job Title: Machine Operator Job Description

This role operates and monitors stamping machines in a production environment to ensure efficient and accurate output. You will load materials, inspect finished parts for quality and defects, and follow detailed work instructions and safety procedures. The position requires maintaining a clean and organized workspace while working closely with team members to meet daily production goals.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor stamping machines in a high-volume production environment to ensure consistent and efficient performance.

  • Load raw materials and components into machines and verify that parts run smoothly and efficiently through the equipment.

  • Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and defects, and take corrective action or escalate issues as needed.

  • Follow detailed work instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area to support quality production and reduce downtime.

  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets and support overall workflow.

  • Identify and communicate any equipment or process issues to the appropriate personnel to minimize disruptions.

  • Support continuous improvement efforts by following best practices and suggesting process enhancements when appropriate.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to operate production or stamping machinery or willingness to learn machine operation in a manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to stand for long periods during the shift and safely lift 25–50 lbs as part of daily tasks.

  • Strong attention to detail to accurately inspect parts and identify defects or irregularities.

  • High level of reliability and consistency in attendance, punctuality, and work quality.

  • Comfort working in a production setting with repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and quality.

  • Basic mechanical aptitude to understand how machines function and respond appropriately to minor issues.

  • Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions and safety procedures accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Entry-level candidates are welcome; prior manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.

  • Prior experience in manufacturing, machine operation, or stamping is considered a plus.

  • Transferable experience from warehouse, assembly, mechanical, or similar roles is valued.

  • Willingness to learn advanced toolmaking and precision production processes.

  • Interest in working within an ISO 9001:2015 certified environment focused on quality and continuous improvement.

Work Environment

The facility in Attleboro, MA offers a professional, quality-focused production environment centered on precision, innovation, and continuous improvement. The organization operates under ISO 9001:2015 certification, maintaining high operational standards and using advanced toolmaking techniques to deliver accurate, durable products. The company manages the complete production lifecycle—from raw materials through final delivery—ensuring a customer-centric approach to every order. This position follows a four-day workweek schedule, Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. You will work on and around stamping and production equipment in a structured manufacturing setting, adhering to established safety practices and appropriate industrial attire suitable for a shop-floor environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pawtucket, RI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
