What You Can Earn

  • Earn up to $39.46 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.

What You'll Do

  • Perform high-precision pipe welding on Stainless Steel and Copper-Nickel using Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG).

  • Weld using additional processes including Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and Flux-Core Arc Welding (FCAW).

  • Work from drawings, specifications, and welding procedures to ensure structural integrity and system reliability.

  • Support ship construction in a 24/7 manufacturing environment, including working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.

  • Maintain safety standards that meet - and often exceed - industry requirements.

What You Bring

  • Proven, hands-on pipe welding experience with TIG/GTAW as a primary process

  • Ability to weld Stainless Steel and Copper-Nickel to exact specifications

  • Skill in SMAW and FCAW processes

  • Ability to work safely in complex shipyard environments

  • Strong commitment to quality, precision, and craftsmanship

Must Have

  • Minimum 2 years of pipe welding experience.

Nice to Have

  • Mississippi Tech Master Certification
