School Aide (K–12) – Immediate Openings
Pay: $17–$21 per hour Locations: Covina Valley Unified School District, El Monte Union High School District, Alhambra Unified School District
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is hiring School Aides to support students across partnered K–12 school districts. These roles are ideal for compassionate, dependable individuals who want to make a meaningful impact in a school setting.
Position Summary
School Aides provide essential support to students with academic, behavioral, and daily-living needs. You’ll help maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment where students feel supported and encouraged.
Pay and Schedule

$17–$21 per hour (based on experience)

Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM

School-based schedule only — no evenings or weekends

Weekly pay

Immediate openings available across multiple districts
Responsibilities

Student support — Assist students with academic and behavioral needs ??

Daily-living assistance — Support mobility, personal care, and routine tasks (training provided)

Classroom environment — Help maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive learning space

Encouragement — Offer consistent guidance and positive reinforcement

Collaboration — Work closely with teachers and school staff ??

Professional conduct — Demonstrate patience, reliability, and calm responses to challenges
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Must be at least 18 years old

Experience working with children or in educational settings preferred

Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented

Able to meet school district onboarding and clearance requirements
