How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership to ensure clinical objectives and quality patient care are implemented across assigned areas.

  • Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts while contributing to performance evaluations, hiring, training, and staff development.

  • Assess daily care needs to distribute population-appropriate patient assignments, evaluating care effectiveness to identify and address issues affecting patient outcomes.

  • Respond to patient care complaints and manage them through established channels.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date required.

Education:

  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experiencerequired.
