Job Title: Production Coordinator Job Description

The Production Coordinator will work closely with operations on the production floor to ensure the seamless flow of parts and materials. This role involves ensuring technicians have the necessary parts to complete tasks, labeling and staging parts, managing materials on the floor, storing parts, and utilizing the MRP system for tracking purposes. The role requires mobility and interaction across the production floor.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with operations to ensure technicians have required parts.

  • Label and stage parts accurately for production needs.

  • Manage and store parts effectively on the production floor.

  • Track parts and materials using the MRP system.

  • Facilitate communication across departments to ensure smooth operations.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in order entry and parts distribution.

  • Experience with staging orders and plumbing within commercial facilities.

  • Knowledge of production environments and tooling.

  • Familiarity with ERP, SAP, and MRP systems.

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in production environments and tooling.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact across departments.

  • Willingness and ability to learn new systems, particularly the MRP system.

Work Environment

This role involves floating around the production floor, working closely with technicians and operations staff. Employees can expect to work in a commercial facility with two available shifts: Monday to Friday from 3:30 PM to 12 AM, and Friday to Sunday from 12 PM to 12 AM.

This is a Contract position based out of Middle River, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
