This position operates across cloud and tactical edge environments, supporting requirements development, validation, and management across the full software development lifecycle — from initial concept through fielding — in both garrison and deployed settings, including Denied, Degraded, Intermittent, and Low Bandwidth (DDIL) environments.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Government stakeholders, vendors, and development teams to ensure requirements are accurately captured, communicated, traceable, and verifiable throughout the program lifecycle

  • Evaluate and validate platform capabilities including data onboarding, interoperability, cross-platform data exchange, and UI/UX performance against established requirements and end-user needs

  • Support development and validation of tactical edge configurations, ensuring requirements account for operations in DDIL environments including 72-hour autonomous operations and network synchronization

  • Participate in product demonstrations, design reviews, and agile development cycles, providing rapid assessment of solution compliance against documented requirements

  • Maintain and manage a comprehensive requirements traceability matrix, ensuring all requirements are tracked from inception through testing, validation, and delivery

Required Experience:

  • Six (6+) years of progressive experience in requirements analysis, systems engineering, or a closely related field, with a minimum of Three (3 ) years supporting defense, military, or interagency programs at the operational or acquisition level

  • Demonstrated experience eliciting, decomposing, and documenting functional and non-functional requirements, with proven proficiency in requirements management tools such as DOORS, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent platforms

  • Experience working within agile development frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban, with working knowledge of DevSecOps pipelines, API-driven interoperability standards, and common data layer concepts

  • Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture, data security frameworks, and the unique requirements of classified network environments

  • Experience with cloud-based and tactical edge platforms, including the ability to translate operational constraints in DDIL environments into technically sound requirements

  • Background in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and familiarity with military symbology, targeting, collection management, and terrain analysis domains

  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate requirements workshops, brief senior military, civilian, and interagency audiences, and drive consensus across technical and operational stakeholders in fast-paced, dynamic environments
