Position Description
As a CAD Technician, you will be a part of the team that is responsible for designing and prototyping new products for manufacturing, repair, and support groups within the Reynolds and Reynolds company, as well as redesigning existing products with technical complications. \nYour primary responsibility will be transcribing existing parts from drawings and physical parts into 3D models. You will also be building and testing prototypes as well as some minor electronics work. \n
Training
Requirements
Experience using CAD modeling software (i.e. Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor or Autodesk Fusion 360); Currently pursuing/obtained a technical or business degree with computer modeling (ideal majors: Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology or a general CAD drawing/modeling major); Ability to identify and resolve technical issues with modeling and existing products; Good mechanical background, a plus; General knowledge of electronics, a plus; High school diploma or GED required \n
