Full job description

Kelly is hiring Packaging Associates on behalf of a highly reputable and established steel distribution and processing center that specializes in supplying and fabricating metals for a wide range of industrial clients across North America.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for candidates interested in learning how to operate a tow motor and overhead crane.

$20.00 Per Hour

Monday - Thursday 8:00 pm - 6:00 am

(Must be able to train Monday - Friday from 6:00 am - 2:00 pm for the first 1-2 weeks)

Responsibilities:

  • Placing paper on metal blocks and steel products

  • Banding products securely onto skids for safe shipment

  • Using lifting aids and packaging equipment (max lifting without equipment is 50 lbs.)

  • Cross-training and certification on tow motor (forklift) and overhead crane available after introductory period

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in industrial/packaging/warehouse environments is a plus but not required

  • Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. without aid

  • Steel-toed shoes required
