This position offers a sign-on bonus to eligible candidates!

0-1 years of experience: 2-year commitment: $10,000 3-year commitment: $12,000 1-2 years of experience: 2-year commitment: $10,000 3-year commitment: $17,000 2+ years of experience: 2-year commitment: $15,000 3-year commitment: $25,000

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Assists anesthesia personnel with the preparation and insertion of specialized invasive monitoring equipment utilized during perioperative procedures.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides technical support to anesthesia personnel during the preparation and insertion of specialized invasive monitoring equipment. (30%)

  • Ensures that all anesthetizing locations are in a state of readiness. (30%)

  • Maintain proper standards of cleanliness and organization of the Anesthesia workroom. (15%)

  • Manages equipment, supplies, and medication according to established guidelines to maintain safe, efficient, and cost effective programs. (15%)

  • Participates in hospital, division, and department activities. (10%)

  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

  • Must meet one of the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience as an Anesthesia Technician or Emergency/Medical or related experience

  • Graduate from an accredited Anesthesia Tech school or program

Preferred

  • ASATT Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.A.T.) or ASATT Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer.A.T.T.)

Additional Employment Requirements:

  • CPR – American Heart Association
