Job Title: HVAC Service Tech II

Location: Midland, Texas, 79701

Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $32-39/hr

Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite

Overview

The HVAC Technician II is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing HVAC, plumbing and mechanical components/equipment. Performs Service projects/small jobs from beginning to completion and ensure total customer satisfaction throughout.

Responsibilities

  • Install and commission a wide variety of HVAC equipment.

  • Perform maintenance of HVAC systems such as atmospheric boilers and water-cooled chillers.

  • Service energy recovery ventilators, hydronic AHUs & FCUs, and perform repairs.

  • Maintain clear communication with customers both on and off site.

  • Assist in inventory and tool procurement for service vehicles.

  • Promote and adhere to all safety procedures and policies of the company.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of HVAC experience.

  • Maintenance experience with chillers, boilers, pumps, AHUs, and other equipment.

  • Ability to troubleshoot with mechanical and diagnostic skills.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented and adaptable to multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Industry knowledge and awareness of competitors.

  • Ability to multitask and perform duties outside the scope of work when necessary.

  • Current licensed technician or verifiable experience servicing commercial HVAC & refrigeration systems.

  • Holds EPA Certification.

  • OSHA 10 or 30 hour certification.
