Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Assists in preparing the operating room for surgery by setting up surgical instruments and equipment.

• Transports patients to and from the operating room and assists with positioning them on the operating table.

• Ensures the cleanliness and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.

• Maintains a clean and safe environment in the surgical suite.

• Provides support to the surgical team during procedures by anticipating needs.

• Assists with room turnover between surgeries, including cleaning and restocking supplies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must be able to read and write the English language [Required]

Education:

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience:

• 5+ experience as a surgical assistant [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range:

$18.32 - $29.31 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
