LSI Staffing is Hiring for Quality Specialists
Are you a detail-oriented problem solver with a background in manufacturing quality? We are looking for a Quality Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will play a vital part in problem resolution, conducting audits, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring top-tier product quality.
Key Responsibilities

Quality Management: Help implement, support, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and relevant documentation.

Design & Process Review: Review product designs, specifications, and manufacturing instructions to ensure all requirements are fully met.

Problem Resolution & Root Cause Analysis: Investigate internal and external quality issues, conduct root cause analyses, and implement/verify corrective actions.

Auditing & Inspections: Conduct internal and external quality audits and assist with coordinating product inspections.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a point of contact to resolve technical issues and offer technical guidance to suppliers and internal teams.

Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to inspectors to troubleshoot and resolve quality problems.

Safety & Compliance: Promote safe work practices aligned with OSHA standards and internal safety guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience:
-
Associate degree in a related field OR 5+ years of Quality experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
-
2–3 years of experience working with ISO Quality Management Systems in a manufacturing environment.

Auditor certification is a strong plus.

Technical Skills:
-
Proven experience in root cause analysis and problem resolution.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Basic to intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, planning, organizational, and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate with personnel across all levels.
Physical & Environmental Demands
-
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive motions for greater than 50% of the shift.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently (team lifts required for over 50 lbs).
-
Comfortable working in variable temperatures, outdoor environments/uneven terrain, and around standard manufacturing settings.
