Explore an exciting opportunity with Advocate Christ Hospital & Medical Center as we eagerly welcome a skilled PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with our Anesthesiology Team in Oaklawn, IL .
Position Highlights:
- Team Environment: Care Team Model with strong CRNA leadership
- Clinical Scope: Provide anesthesia services patients in both elective and emergency surgical settings. Case mix includes General Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Trauma, Neuro (heads & spine), Gynecology & Transplants. CRNAs can perform spinals, arterial line placement and some peripheral nerve blocks.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices, and

Nurse Anesthetist certification (CRNA) issued by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, and

Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber license issued by the state in which the team member practices, and

Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration issued by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration, and
-
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required, and
-
Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required, or
-
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)/American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required. Education Required:
