Skills and Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of EHS experience in heavy manufacturing environments

  • Fabrication, welding, steel manufacturing strongly preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Strong working knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards

  • Experience implementing and maintaining OSHA-required safety programs with bona fide processes

  • Proven ability to identify gaps, create mitigation plans, and train teams

  • Safety-focused mindset with commitment to continuous learning

  • Hands-on safety experience (not purely administrative) Experience rebuilding or backfilling EHS programs after leadership gaps

Driving safety culture and employee engagement initiatives

Manufacturing environments with legacy processes that need modernization

Strong change-management and influence skills

Prior experience supporting driving safety programs
