General Laborers - Solar Field Maintenance & Construction

Location: Trinidad, Colorado

Start Date: May 26, 2026

Schedule: Night shift during the first week, transitioning to a standard project schedule

Position Overview

We are seeking dependable and hardworking General Laborers to support maintenance and construction activities at an active solar energy facility in Trinidad, CO. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, have experience with hand and power tools, and take pride in maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Candidates must be comfortable working around energized electrical equipment and performing physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance throughout the solar field

• Assist with machine and equipment maintenance activities

• Maintain overall site cleanliness and facility upkeep

• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment

• Handle small parts and materials as needed

• Follow all site safety procedures and project requirements

Qualifications

• Must reside locally or be able to reliably commute to Trinidad, CO

• Experience using hand tools, power tools, shovels, and basic mechanical equipment

• Comfortable working around energized electrical components

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record

• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety

Work Conditions & PPE Requirements

• Safety-toe or steel-toe boots are required

• Company-provided PPE includes:

• Hard hat

• High-visibility vest

• Safety glasses

• Work gloves

• No shorts or clothing with holes permitted on site

• Must be able to perform physical labor, stand for extended periods, bend, lift, and work outdoors throughout the shift

Schedule Details

• Standard schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (Monday through Thursday)

• Approximately 10 days of night work are anticipated during the project

• Weather-related delays may require Friday work to maintain project timelines

• Overtime opportunities may be available based on project needs

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
