BARTENDER

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Dakota's Club on Ellsworth AFB. Must be physically able to frequently lift objects weighting 5 to 15 pounds. Must meet the appropriate minimum age requirement for working with and/or serving alcoholic beverages. This is a flexible work schedule with no minimum guaranteed hours. Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Applicants will be categorized by preference(s) and/or priority consideration eligibilities. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Knowledge of correct proportions and mixtures to use in preparing beverages. Ability to follow cash handling procedures. Operates a limited service bar.Prepares a limited variety of alcoholic drinks, beer, wine, and soda. Receives payment, operates cash register, and makes/returns change to patrons or waiter. Sets up, stocks, and maintains a neat and clean bar/work area. Washes bar equipment, glassware, and utensils. May be required to prepare documentation for cash funs accountability.
