A client of Insight Global is seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic II to support maintenance, modification, inspection, and repair activities on military aircraft platforms. This position will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting aircraft systems, conducting inspections, and ensuring all work is completed in accordance with FAA regulations, military technical orders, manufacturer specifications, and company quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have extensive rotary-wing military aviation experience, preferably with a 15 Series Army MOS or equivalent military occupational specialty from another branch of service. Candidates with fixed-wing aircraft maintenance backgrounds may be considered depending on the depth and relevance of their experience.

Skills and Requirements

Minimum 6 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience.

Prior military aviation experience with a 15 Series Army MOS (15T, 15U, 15R, 15N, etc.) or equivalent aircraft maintenance specialty from another branch of service.

Experience performing aircraft inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and component replacement.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, maintenance procedures, engineering drawings, and technical data.

Experience supporting military aircraft maintenance operations, modifications, or sustainment activities.

Strong understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance practices, and safety procedures.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced aircraft maintenance environment.

High School Diploma or GED.

Fixed-wing aircraft maintenance experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on the scope and relevance of experience.

FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License preferred but not required.
