Consistent afternoon schedule near Orland Park— ideal for caregivers looking to add hours to an existing morning case.

Schedule: Afternoon shifts available most days

We are seeking a kind, dependable caregiver or Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support a friendly client with cerebral palsy . This role focuses on companionship, engaging activities, and light personal care support during afternoon hours .

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships and helping someone stay active and engaged.

Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and friendly conversation

  • Play games, participate in activities, and encourage engagement

  • Assist with bathing and personal hygiene

  • Assist with transfers on and off the toilet

  • Help with laundry and light household tasks related to the client

  • Support a safe and positive daily routine

Ideal Caregiver

  • Patient, friendly, and dependable

  • Comfortable assisting with personal care

  • Enjoys conversation, games, and activities

  • Experience with caregiving, DSP, or home care preferred

Requirements

  • Previous caregiving or personal care experience required

  • Reliable transportation

  • Ability to provide respectful personal care assistance
