Penn Fleet is seeking an experienced, motivated Mobile Service Manager to oversee and grow our mobile repair division. This is a leadership position responsible for coordinating technicians, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining efficiency, and helping expand our mobile service operations. This role will have significant sales and growth responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the mobile service department.

  • Schedule and dispatch mobile technicians for emergency and preventative maintenance calls.

  • Communicate with customers regarding repairs, timelines, and service updates.

  • Ensure technicians have the tools, parts, and information needed for each job.

  • Monitor technician productivity, efficiency, and quality of work.

  • Assist in estimating repairs and approving work orders.

  • Coordinate with the shop, parts department, and customers to maximize productivity.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.

  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.

  • Help develop and expand the company's mobile service business.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies and DOT regulations.

  • Track KPIs including response time, billed hours, revenue, and technician utilization.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in truck, fleet, diesel, or heavy equipment repair.

  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

  • Ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with service management software is a plus.

  • Valid driver's license required.
