Staff Accountant

Location: Moon Township, PA

Schedule: Full-Time

Compensation: $65k-$70k, 8% annual bonus potential

About the Opportunity

Growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and general ledger activities. This is a hands-on opportunity for an accounting professional who is organized, analytical, and comfortable working across multiple departments.

What You’ll Do

• Manage accounts payable , including invoice processing, payments, vendor setup, and reconciliations

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and general ledger transactions

• Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations

• Support month-end and year-end close activities

• Assist with financial statements and monthly reporting

• Review expense reports for accuracy and proper classification

• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies

• Assist with audits, tax requests, and financial reporting

• Work closely with Operations, Sales, Shipping, and Management

• Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3–4+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills

• Experience with an ERP/accounting system; SAP experience is a plus

• Understanding of GAAP and/or IFRS preferred

• Experience with month-end close preferred

• Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving skills

• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and work independently

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Manufacturing, steel, or industrial experience is a plus

• Valid driver’s license

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
