What You’ll Actually Do
Chevron is hiring at various operating locations across the U.S., including:
- El Segundo, CA
- Midland, TX
- Pascagoula, MS
- Richmond, CA
Construction Engineers are responsible for safety, efficiency, quality, scheduling and execution of construction work. They will ensure conformance with safety policies, project plans, and enforce design and construction codes. Construction Managers coordinate with engineering and operations groups to prioritize and plan project work to reduce operating downtime and optimize production by aligning the facilities with the current production needs.
After their initial assignment in their starting location, Construction Managers may have the opportunity to work in at any of Chevron’s domestic and international operations and project execution sites.
What You Must Have
The following are required qualifications:
- Students completing the last year of the requirements for their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management; or individuals with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management with two years or less directly related work experience.
- Strong academic performance in core programs, communication, leadership, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to demonstrate The Chevron Way.
Compensation& Benefits
- The anticipated salary range for this position is $111,000- $136,000 annually. The selected candidate’s compensation will be determined based on their respective degree level and discipline.
