Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum):
$29.630 - $36.290 - $42.960
The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.
What You Will Do
Manages the nutritional care of infant, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients through assessment of nutritional status, formulation, implementation and monitoring of care plans following appropriate policy/procedure. Utilizes unique knowledge of nutrition, interprets and communicates nutrition care principles to clients and patients. Collaborates with other professionals and personnel in the integration and delivery of care.
Required Qualifications
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association -REQUIRED
Other Qualification Requirements
- Valid CA drivers’ license required, Auto Insurance required (for Home Care position only).Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, required. CCS (California Children Services) panel provider, preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Able to perform numerical calculations for nutritional values, enteral feedings, modified diets and parenteral nutrition, required.

Knowledge of chemistry, caloric values, and physical properties of foods, as well as understanding the medical basis for dietetic restrictions, required.

Able to communicate ideas and diet therapy instructions to patients and families, required.
