Line Operators - All Shifts

Triple Cities Metal Finishing is looking for Plating Line Operators to join our team. Plating Line Operators are responsible for safely and efficiently operating our plating lines while maintaining the quality of finished parts.

This is a hands-on manufacturing position that involves loading and unloading parts, operating plating equipment, monitoring the plating process, performing basic quality checks, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Previous plating or metal finishing experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

What You'll Do

• Set up, operate, and monitor plating line equipment and tanks.

• Rack and un-rack parts throughout the plating process.

• Move parts through the plating line according to established procedures and customer requirements.

• Monitor plating times, temperatures, solution levels, and equipment controls.

• Make routine adjustments to equipment and process settings as needed.

• Perform chemical additions as directed to maintain plating solution requirements.

• Monitor gauges and equipment to ensure the line is operating properly.

• Stop the process and notify a Supervisor if equipment or process issues occur.

• Visually inspect finished parts for defects and quality concerns.

• Follow work instructions, customer requirements, and established quality procedures.

• Clean tanks, equipment, and work areas as required.

• Perform routine housekeeping and assist with general line maintenance.

• Communicate production or quality concerns to the Supervisor.

• Work with other team members to keep production moving efficiently.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Willingness to learn plating processes and equipment.

• Ability to identify and communicate quality or equipment concerns.

Available Shifts

1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM

3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 PM-7:30 AM

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $18.00–$21.00/hour, based on experience.
