Sentara CarePlex Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Cardiac Unit.

Multiple Shift: Days & Nights

Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM & 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Weekly Scheduled: 36

License and Certification

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing

• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire

Education

• RN-Associate’s Degree, or

• RN-Bachelor’s Degree, or

• RN-Diploma, or

• RN-Master’s Degree

Unit Description : This is a 24-bed Medical/Surgical Stroke unit where we care for patients on telemetry monitoring. The patients are here to determine the next step needed in their care - which may be a cardiac cath, transfer to the heart hospital for surgery on their heart, or having a diagnostic test such as a stress test or echocardiogram.
